Job Overview
1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to support the YT Platform with a focus on the United States market. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and detailing vehicle options and variants while ensuring alignment with global platform standards and engineering governance.
The ideal candidate brings strong 3D design experience, understands manufacturing processes, and can collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and detail 3D components, assemblies, and vehicle structures
• Engineer and document product options and variants tailored to the U.S. market
• Adapt designs to support local sourcing and U.S.-based suppliers
• Create production and release drawings for review and approval
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and implementation activities
• Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and platform consistency
• Work within established platform architecture, design standards, and engineering guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and production feasibility
Core Functions
• Execute assignments and priorities as directed by Platform leadership
• Coordinate closely with CAD Engineering teams to align on design standards, tools, and methodologies
• Partner with Process Engineering teams to ensure production readiness and efficiency
• Deliver technical outputs for review, decision-making, and final release by platform leadership
• Support sourcing and supplier integration initiatives
Work Environment
This role operates within a professional engineering environment with collaboration across both office and manufacturing settings. Occasional flexibility in schedule may be required to support project timelines and production demands.
Requirements:
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• 3–7+ years of experience in product engineering, design engineering, or similar role
• Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product development cycles
• Experience working in a structured engineering environment with defined standards
