POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Design, prepare/produce, review, and modify technical documents, layouts, and drawings to ensure the proper functioning of the change control system, in compliance with company standards and external regulatory requirements. Provide support in the design and release of drawings for new products, tools, or equipment for the manufacturing area. Provide support to internal customers and review and approve workflows in the documentation system.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and review product drawings and labels, as well as related documentation, to ensure compliance with current quality standards.
• Develop and maintain electronic files of drawings, databases, reports, and records.
• Review and approve workflows in the documentation system. When required, make the modifications needed due to the SAP change (ECR).
• Provide support to plant personnel regarding the use of the documentation system, including the creation of new documents and training on how to use the system.
• Support the documentation process for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards and other continuous improvement tools and department metrics.
• Perform other duties inherent to the position and those assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Technical diploma in Technical Drawing or Mechanical Design using AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Works or similar software.
• At least two years of experience as a Drafter in the architectural, civil engineering, mechanical, or industrial field for blueprint handling.
• Intermediate English proficiency, C1 Common European Framework of Reference.
