In TBC, product designers contribute to product decisions from the early stages of delivery. As a Junior Product Designer (L1), your work begins before visual execution and continues until features are delivered with the expected level of quality and compliance. You will support the team by executing clearly defined design tasks, documenting your work, and ensuring that outputs meet accessibility and design standards.

At first, you will focus on supporting engagement-related features in our business digital bank, contributing to improvements that impact thousands of TBC customers. Your role will include assisting with research activities, building wireframes, preparing UI mockups, and helping refine existing flows under the guidance of more senior designers.

Alongside your product work, you will contribute to our ongoing design transformation by learning and applying the design system, documenting components, and collaborating with fellow designers to maintain consistency across TBC products.

This is how your first year in TBC will look like:

• After your first month, you should be fully onboarded with day-to-day operations, team processes, and tools. You will already have supported several small design tasks such as improving existing screens, preparing documentation, or assisting with usability-related improvements.
• Within a three-month period, you will start contributing more independently within clearly defined tasks. You will participate in research execution, support workshops, and begin contributing basic updates to shared design assets.
• Six months marks your probation milestone. Together with your lead, you will evaluate your progress based on delivery quality, accuracy, and adherence to established guidelines, confirming readiness for increased ownership.
• On your first anniversary, you will prepare your first individual development plan outlining how you will expand your skills, increase autonomy, and grow toward the next level.

 

 

• Tbilisi-first. We currently work in hybrid mode with office days from Monday to Wednesday.
• 2-5 years of experience in UX/UI or a related field. Exposure to fintech products is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work within a cross-functional product team and follow established processes and guidance.
• Basic portfolio demonstrating wireframes, UI mockups, or academic/real projects.
• Understanding of usability principles, accessibility basics, and structured design documentation.
• Basic proficiency with UX design tools such as Figma or Sketch, including working with existing components and preparing simple prototypes.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve skills through collaboration with more experienced designers.
• Product mindset fundamentals — familiarity with concepts such as user journeys, personas, and basic research methods.
• B2+ English skills for daily collaboration.
