The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Designer to work across marketing, brand, and product design. This role plays a key part in shaping how Akido is experienced—from first touch through ongoing care delivery.

You’ll design work that supports patients, care teams, and partners, balancing strong visual storytelling with practical, user-centered product design. This is an opportunity to apply design craft to real-world healthcare impact in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute marketing and brand assets across digital channels, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, and educational materials

• Translate complex care delivery and technology concepts into clear, engaging visual experiences that resonate with patients, providers, and healthcare decision-makers

• Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams on campaigns, product launches, and go-to-market initiatives

• Contribute to product design for internal and external care delivery tools (web and/or mobile), supporting patient and care-team workflows through intuitive UI and visual design

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand experiences

• Own and evolve the design system, including component libraries, templates, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across all touchpoints

• Manage stakeholder feedback and design reviews with cross-functional partners, including clinical leadership and executive teams

• Use analytics, user feedback, and performance data to inform design decisions and continuously improve marketing effectiveness

• Prepare production-ready design specs and assets for seamless handoff to developers and external vendors

• Manage multiple concurrent projects and timelines while maintaining exceptional craft and attention to detail

Who You Are

• 5+ years of professional experience in visual, brand, and/or product design

• Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing/brand work and digital product or UI design

• Excellent visual design skills

• Solid understanding of UX fundamentals and accessibility best practices

• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating design decisions clearly

• Experience creating illustrations, iconography, or motion graphics for healthcare/B2B contexts is a plus

• Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments is a plus

Hourly pay range
$50—$60 USD
