Product Designer (Taipei)

Nitra will offer physicians and medical clinics around the country cards, loans, accounts, payments, and expense management products they crucially need, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies.

They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Capsule, Plaid, Bloomberg, Meta, Facebook, and Mastercard. The team is backed by some of the world's leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.

We're looking for:
A full-time product designer who is passionate about designing UI/UX flows that create amazing user experiences. You’ll be working closely with product, business, and engineering teams across multiple platforms such as desktop web and mobile iOS & Android. We’re looking for a high-achieving and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment

***Note: you must be based in Taipei for this role

Your responsibilities will include: :
• Work with product, business, and engineering to create cohesive and user-friendly designs across multiple platforms for web and mobile
• Build design concepts into functional prototypes
• Improve existing designs and user experiences on our products
• Maintain current industry knowledge of design concepts, techniques, and applications

You have::
• Fluency in English
• Able to have flexible working hours to collaborate with our NY office
• 4+ years of product design experience and an available online portfolio (include any passwords)
• BA degree or equivalent experience in product design or related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of layouts, typography, composition, color, visual design, responsive web design, and other design fundamentals
• Must have B2B product design experience.
• A portfolio showcasing your best work, with a focus on delivering impactful user experiences and demonstrating your design process.
• Expertise with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is a must
• Experience in interaction design, motion design, and prototyping
• The ability to solve complex design problems, creating simple and impactful solutions
• A holistic, analytical decision-making process that incorporates user goals, business goals, technical constraints, and inputs such as data, user research, and intuition
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and/or a startup
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Shown you are adept at handling and frequently re-prioritizing a high volume of tasks. You are diligent, thoughtful, and detail-oriented
• An understanding of the importance and need for confidentiality. You can be trusted to keep information in confidence
• The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up. High-achieving and goal-oriented. A self-starter, you are always able to understand the bigger picture, and take a leading role to impact it
• A collaborative spirit. Ability to quickly and capably provide unfaltering support to team members, oftentimes proactively addressing issues before they become problematic
