Quick Summary
Design and develop visually appealing and user-centered mobile and web applications for EV charging stations and complex SaaS platform, working closely with internal stakeholders to co-own the design system.
Required Skills
Job Description
You'll lead UX design across two complementary surfaces: white-label mobile apps for EV drivers and a complex B2B SaaS platform that charging network operators use to run their operations. On mobile (iOS, Android), it's consumer-facing — finding chargers, managing sessions, payment flows. On the platform, it's data-dense — operational dashboards, enterprise workflows. You'll co-own the mobile layer of an emerging design system.
About the Product
A mature SaaS platform for managing EV charging stations at scale, used by network operators worldwide. The product integrates with hardware from various charging-station vendors, payment systems, and operator networks. Two surfaces share the experience: a B2B platform that operators use to run their fleets (data-dense interfaces, dashboards, enterprise workflows), and white-label mobile apps that those operators ship to their EV drivers (charger discovery, session management, payments).
What You'll Be Doing
• Lead end-to-end UX for the EV driver mobile apps (iOS, Android), responsive web, and the complex B2B web platform
• Shape the visual language and interaction patterns across both surfaces, so they feel cohesive even when the audiences differ
• Co-own the mobile layer of the design system — patterns, components, tokens, guidelines
• Build production-ready components inside the emerging design system
• Partner with product managers on user scenarios, stories, and priorities — shaping what gets built, not just receiving briefs
• Work with engineers and QA through implementation, providing guidance as designs are built
• Prototype across the fidelity spectrum — from quick sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity interactive flows
• Iterate based on user feedback, testing results, and post-launch insights
• Advocate for accessibility — push the team to prioritize accessible features and standards
What We Expect
• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience covering both mobile apps and complex B2B web applications (enterprise platforms or operational tools)
• Deep design systems work — you've contributed to or co-owned component libraries, tokens, and documentation
• Figma expert — auto layout, prototyping, variables, components, wireframing, developer handoff
• Strong user-centered design foundation — research methods, standard UCD processes, translating insights into intuitive experiences
• Systems thinking — ability to see a project's larger ecosystem and focus on solutions that improve entire user flows
• Ability to distill complexity into simple, intuitive solutions
• Self-driven, self-correcting, results-oriented — comfortable in a fast-paced async environment
• Excellent communication skills — async collaboration, storytelling, presenting design rationale
• Fluent English
Will be a plus
• BA in Visual Communication or equivalent
• Hands-on with modern AI tools for design (Claude, Figma AI, Midjourney, others) and current with industry trends
• Experience with EV / energy / sustainability / IoT domains
The Stack
The team works in Figma (variables, auto layout, full developer handoff), Jira for product flow, and has integrated Claude and AI-assisted workflows into the design process. The design system has documented standards and a governance committee — there's real structure here, not the chaos of a greenfield startup.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
• Real cross-domain product work — B2B2C mobile and complex B2B SaaS in the same role, which is an uncommon combination
• Co-ownership of the mobile layer of a working design system, with formal governance behind it
• Modern AI design workflows already in production use, not pitched as a buzzword
• Mature product (12+ years on market) currently going through a design transformation — emerging design system layered over a real, established product
What we offer
• Competitive salary in USD
• Medical insurance after the trial period
• 20 business days of paid vacation and 10 sick days
• Full remote work with overlap to the product team's working hours (CET / GMT+3 region)
• Full work equipment provided
• English classes (online)
• Mental health support (insurance-covered)
• People Partner assigned for the full collaboration cycle
• Career growth opportunities in a long-term product role
