Position Details
Job Location: Remote, with occasional business travel. We will consider candidates located anywhere in the world.
Compensation: Competitive salary, plus benefits and bonuses, paid in your local currency. Salary will be dependent on location, experience and qualifications. Job Description
Panda is currently seeking a full-time, Product Designer with a minimum of 4 years experience to help build the next generation of our web-based platform, which spans our entire company workflow. This is a chance to work on an exciting, complex and ambitious platform that will be used by our internal workforce across multiple regions and our external clients.
This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel, and is ideally suited to candidates who enjoy working in a smaller, cross-functional team environment where they can have a big impact on all design decisions, work quickly and iteratively, and can explore opportunities to wear different hats and pursue growth in areas that interest them.

What You'll Do
Plan and conduct UX research, including user interviews, usability testing, and prototype validation with internal and external users
Translate research insights into clear, actionable design decisions, represented in user flows, specifications, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
Produce high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs for new features and product improvements when required
Collaborate closely with Engineers and our Director of Technology to define problems, discuss solutions and align on goals
Oversee and maintain the evolution of our design system, guidelines and best practices
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory Requirements
A portfolio that showcases strong UX thinking and clean, intuitive interface design
4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in B2B product environments
Strong generalist background across research, UX, UI, and visual design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — able to articulate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical partners
Skilled in Figma and experienced with rapid prototyping tools to communicate ideas clearly and quickly
Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams
Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at creating structure where none exists
Experience working with component-based design
Ability to travel internationally for at least 1 week per year, including to Canada, the USA, the EU, the UK, Hong Kong, and China. If you have any visa or passport issues that would prevent you from traveling to the locations listed, please let us know as soon as possible.
Ability to work up to 2 overlapping hours between 9 AM and 4 PM, Pacific Standard Time.
Nice-To-Haves
Experience prototyping and designing in-browser (ideally in VueJS)
Experience prototyping in Axure
Experience designing for SPA web applications
Understanding of front-end development constraints and opportunities
Understanding of the board game industry, or hobby board games in general
Understanding or experience using AI for design ideation and prototyping

Active Tabletop Publishers and Tabletop Media Content Creators
Panda is happy to hire people with tabletop industry experience, including active game designers who license their designs to publishers. However, Panda does not hire people who own tabletop game publishing companies and who actively publish tabletop games. If you currently own a tabletop game publishing company and actively publish games, you would need to divest yourself of that business or cease publishing games prior to starting work with Panda. Similarly, Panda is happy to hire people who own and create content for the tabletop industry, such as podcasts, youtube channels, blogs, etc. However, Panda does not hire people who receive payments directly from tabletop publishing companies to promote their content. If you currently take money directly from tabletop game publishing companies to promote their content, please let us know in the questionnaire so that we can discuss your particular situation with you.
