Role Overview:

X Up Brands is hiring a Product Design Specialist to help us build better products than the competition across our ecommerce and Amazon brands. This role is responsible for turning product opportunities into clear concepts, improved designs, factory-ready instructions, and better final products. You will work closely with leadership, product development, design, sourcing, and factories to help create products that are more functional, more differentiated, and more premium than what already exists in the market.

We are looking for someone who can help bring structure, speed, and creative thinking to product development — someone who can take rough ideas, improve them, visualize them clearly, and help move them toward production.

Requirements:
• Create clear visual concept directions for products, including sketches, mockups, annotations, reference boards, and design notes
• Work with leadership to refine ideas and make product decisions quickly
• Translate product ideas into clear factory-ready development briefs with detailed instructions, measurements, materials, finishes, features, and design intent
• Coordinate with internal graphic designers, 3D designers, sourcing team, and factories to ensure concepts are understood correctly
• Help manage the development cycle from concept to sampling to revisions to production-ready approval
• Review samples and identify what needs to improve in design, fit, usability, appearance, packaging, and quality
• Organize product development files, concept boards, revision notes, and final specifications so communication is clear and efficient
• Support the creation of a more repeatable product development process across brands
• Help ensure products are not just “good enough,” but truly better than the existing market

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in product design, industrial design, accessory design, consumer product design, or a similar role
• Strong ability to think creatively and practically about how to improve physical products
• Ability to turn rough ideas into clear visual concepts and development instructions
• Experience working with factories, manufacturers, suppliers, or production teams is strongly preferred
• Strong taste level and attention to detail across materials, finishes, proportions, and premium design elements
• Comfortable using visual tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or similar design software
• Able to organize development work clearly and manage multiple product projects at once
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ecommerce, Amazon, consumer goods, jewelry, wellness, or accessories experience is a plus
• 3D design understanding or experience working with CAD / rendering teams is a plus
