About your team

You’ll join a cross-functional product team that cares deeply about creating a world-class learning experience. As our Product Design Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the experience for millions of learners in mobile and web applications.

You will be the direct lead (20% of your time) for two senior product designers and will be part of Mimo’s seven-person leadership team.

At the same time, this is a strongly hands-on role. You will spend most of your time (80%) designing and owning complex product areas end-to-end, raising the quality bar through your own work.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, from early discovery through launch and iteration.

What you’ll be doing

• You design end-to-end. You personally own and design features from problem framing and ideation through execution, release, and iteration, with a strong focus on mobile apps.

• You set our visual direction. You have strong visual taste and ensure clarity, hierarchy, and high design standards across the product.

• You work data-informed. You use qualitative insights and quantitative signals to understand user behavior and make better design decisions.

• You deliver high-quality features. You collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are executed with a high standard of quality, usability, and polish.

• You lead by doing. You set standards through your own design work and provide clear direction, feedback, and coaching to two senior product designers.

• You contribute to leadership. You are an active part of the product and company leadership team, helping shape priorities, processes, and how design shows up at Mimo.
