As part of Sika’s Global Product Conformity organization, the Implementation Lead drives the operationalization of the Product Conformity Management System (PCMS) by aligning conformity objectives with business processes through structured, horizontal project management.
• Maintain and further develop the structure of the Product Conformity Management System (PCMS) to ensure clear traceability between regulatory requirements, internal controls, and business processes
• Lead and execute cross-functional projects aimed at mitigating systemic product conformity risks
• Translate complex regulatory and normative requirements into clear, enforceable internal policies, standards and guidelines that align with operational realities
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for critical business processes and provide regular maturity reports on the state of product conformity
• Provide structured analysis and expert recommendations for cases where policy interpretation is ambiguous or where new regulations are not yet fully implemented
• Design and maintain decision-making frameworks and tools to handle exceptions and borderline cases, ensuring global consistency and defensibility
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to governance structures, documentation practices, and system controls to increase organizational maturity
• Facilitate the alignment between global governance expectations and local business execution by supporting technical advisors and knowledge engineering teams
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in leading and managing complex, cross-functional projects in an international matrix organization
• Experience in or high affinity for corporate governance frameworks and ISO-based management systems
• Professional proficiency in business English (written and spoken) is required. Additional languages are an advantage, especially official EU languages
• Demonstrated ability to apply structured judgment and provide clear rationales in ambiguous regulatory or policy situations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex legal or technical requirements into "lean" and practical business processes
• A "builder" mentality—motivated by creating and refining the frameworks that ensure long-term compliance and safety
• Documentation skills, ideally with a focus on policies, business processes or work instructions
• Preferred: familiarity with products and markets similar to Sika's
