Product Compliance Manager

Our dynamic APAC Regulatory team is looking for a Product Compliance Manager who has experience with the payments, financial service or fintech industry in APAC. In this role, you will enable Adyen to create unique business opportunities while making ethical choices. To do this, you must have strong analytical and communication skills as well as pragmatic and strategic thinking while advising internal and external stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters.

What you'll do:

• Identify risks related to Adyen’s new and existing products and services.

• Advise on various matters with merchants, service providers, internal and external stakeholders, in line with Adyen’s commercial and strategic objectives which allow for scale.

• Develop a scalable and global way of working which facilitates the collaboration between the regulatory, product managers, engineers and operations teams to design regulatory requirements of new and existing products and assist with implementation.

• Translate Adyen’s local/APAC requirements and regulatory approach into relevant Policies and Procedures to be communicated and implemented across the global business.

Who you are:

• You have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

• You have strong project management skills

• You have at least 5 years+ post qualification experience in a regulatory/compliance/product/ compliance operations role

• You have some working knowledge of the payment industry, retail banking, acquiring and finance

• You are a critical thinker, strategic and have innovative problem-solving skills

• Your strong sense of initiative, independence and ability to take ownership/decisions enable you to contribute to a fast-growing and dynamic business

• You are comfortable working in an unstructured/ambiguous environment
