What You’ll Do as a Product Assurance Coordinator

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

• Collate, validate, and centrally record all sustainability certifications/accreditations submitted by buying teams.
• Support the Product Assurance Team by training and educating Buying Teams and suppliers on required sustainability certifications/accreditations.
• Build strong global supplier relationships and help suppliers and buyers resolve issues related to Primark Cares protocol compliance.
• Assist the Product Assurance team in converting materials to sustainable alternatives and supporting circularity-focused product initiatives.
• Work with Brand and Legal teams to ensure Primark Cares claims on the website are accurate and all protocols meet legal standards.
• Develop key cross-functional relationships across Environmental Sustainability, Sourcing, Buying, Merchandising, and external supply partners.

What You’ll Bring

• Passionate about sustainability and the planet, with a strong understanding of the importance of sustainability within the fashion industry.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is an excellent, confident communicator.
• Positive, curious, and solution‑oriented, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong and inspiring networker with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly proficient in Excel and experienced with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
• Holds a university degree in sustainability or a related field; internal candidates must have at least 12 months’ proven experience working with sustainable product in a fashion retail environment.
