Procurement Specialist

The international technology company Ajax Systems opens a full-cycle production facility in Türkiye.

Location : Istanbul/Tuzla, DESBAS

Reponsibilities:
• Purchasing of direct and indirect materials

• Main KPI’s achievement, reporting (savings, payment terms improvement, etc.).

• Hold responsibility for the cost.

• Recommend solutions without compromising quality while optimizing cost.

• Establishing a comprehensive roadmap of sourcing initiatives to shape the cost structure.

• Delivery control and fulfilment with orders

• Full support of order in ERP system (create order, application for payment, receipt of goods, requests for pickup/shipment of goods etc.)

• Coordinate with warehouses and logistics to optimize domestic and international shipping processes.

• Maintain appropriate documentation for audit and control procedures, in addition to timely and accurately, updating purchasing records and data.

• Researching market trends to determine the best time to purchase certain items.

• Coordinating with other departments to ensure all purchases meet the company’s needs.

• Coordinating with the legal department to draft contracts with suppliers.

• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and continually identify new supply streams to maximize operational effectiveness.

• Routine supplier management as requested, including performance evaluation.

• Perform new supplier’s sourcing and qualification

• Contract management

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in finance/engineering/foreign economic activity in priority.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders.

• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills: ability to think critically working outside the box.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, influential, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Results oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.

• Business fluent knowledge of Turkish and English.
