Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics, created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on an industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.
As a Procurement Manager Drones (m/f/d), you play a key role in our supply chain team, responsible for supplier selection, procurement, and ensuring the availability of goods for production. Together with our world-class team, currently consisting of 9 members, you will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You will work closely with stakeholders from production planning, the R&D team, and product management to ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities and at the right time. With your expertise in supply chain management, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to make unmanned aerial systems (sUAV) the benchmark for airborne data collection solutions.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
• Independent coordination of cost-efficient, timely, and quality-assured procurement of products and services.
• Development and implementation of monitoring measures to sustainably improve process and product quality at suppliers, as well as ensuring parts availability and delivery schedules.
• Responsibility for the approval, evaluation, and development of new and existing suppliers, including risk monitoring according to EN9100 standards.
• Conducting supplier audits and implementing necessary supplier development measures.
• Continuous improvement and automation of procurement processes.
• Managing and resolving escalations.
• Independently handling complaints and following up on quality measures.
• Independent execution of market analyses and identification of new procurement sources, as well as evaluation of procurement alternatives.
