Turner & Townsend has been supporting its clients’ construction projects via procurement of categories including contractor packages and long-lead items. Across a variety of sectors such as data centres to semiconductor fabs, we have coordinated the procurement function in all aspects from strategy to tendering to contract execution. This position offers the chance to work directly with the client to build relationships, optimize procurement processes to suit best practices, and grow the business.
Duties include the following:
• Pre-qualification
• RFx drafting
• Tendering & communication with suppliers
• Tender evaluation
• Procurement progress reporting
• Coordination with project team stakeholders such as engineers and legal team
• Native or Business Level in both English and Korean
• Proficient in MS Office 365
• Excellent communication and organization capability
• Can work with other team members with care and empathy
• Experience in administering end-to-end procurement project delivery on construction projects
• Experience in data center equipment procurement is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in consulting on procurement processes and best practices:• Coordination with stakeholders to develop solutions that best suit client needs
• Market research
• Recommendation reports to client
• Experience working directly with client – responding to specific needs to build and strengthen relationship
• Experience leading and managing team
• Experience with business development – supporting organization’s goals in enhancing its reach across the industry
