• he purpose of this job is to work with Clients teams to assess, select, negotiate and execute contracts.
• To develop finance-based performance metrics to be used for Vendor performance assessments and tracking.
• Create
study-level budget of clinical development projects by utilizing
benchmark data and by gathering information from clinical development
functional departments.
• Performs financial reconciliation and negotiation of Vendor contracts prior to study termination and contract closure.
• Manages all aspects of sourcing and negotiating Vendor contracts to ensure that the contracts are cost effective.
• Provides
oversight of Vendor contracts, change orders and invoices and works
with the Vendor for resolution of all issues/ discrepancies.
• Support the Outsourcing & Procurement Management department maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and central files.
• Coordinate the signing process and tracking of confidential disclosure agreements, contracts and change orders.
• Update departmental database (Quickbase) as required. Create costing analyses via CROCAS, Grants Manager or similar systems.
• Negotiate, process and Manage 3rd Party vendor contracts/Amendments.
• Strategic sourcing environment and strong negotiation skills
Education: Bachelors’ Degree in Life Sciences preferred. Minimum 5 years
in outsourcing, health sciences or related field (Oncology clinical
trials). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to
multitask; detail oriented; good organization skills.
Prior procurement experience supporting Oncology CRO outsourcing in the Pharma Industry is a must
