**WORK LOCATION IS IN MICHIGAN, USA**

• Develop and validate electric vehicle power electronics and electrified systems/devices
• Design efficient, cost-effective power electronics using advanced technologies and tools
• Create and execute DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) for power electronic devices
• Plan and perform development and validation testing to meet all functional objectives
• Conduct detailed failure analysis and post-test inspection reviews
• Ensure compliance with program goals and quality standards
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, defect-free processes
• Verify designs meet customer requirements and are manufacturable
• Test finished products for quality and recommend specification improvements as needed
• Support end-of-line testing processes for current and future powertrain programs
• Perform bench development and validation testing for power electronics components
Basic:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electronics and development
• Thorough understanding of power electronics and devices
• DVP&R and DFMEA creation & execution experience
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering standards/protocols, and of power electronics/devices
• Knowledge in CAN Diagnostic Protocols
Preferred:
• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience
• Power electronics / electrical models, simulation experience, and FEA
• CAN communication expertise
• Design and release experience
• Hybrid / high voltage experience
• Supplier program management experience
• EOL plant process experience
