The Lab Coordinator provides support to the Process Sciences department with managing inventory and 

equipment maintenance for laboratory operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Coordinates calibration and preventative maintenance of instruments/devices. 

• Scheduling and coordinating calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair work performed by outside contractors. 

• Review of vendor documentation in support of preventative maintenance and repair work. 

• Initiate, track, and close work records in BMRAM equipment database as needed. 

• Performs data entry into quality systems to ensure compliance with standards. 

• Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data. 

• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements and maintains inspection readiness. 

• Requires High School diploma/GED; AAS in a science, business, or related discipline preferred. 

• 1-2 years of relevant experience; experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred.

Compensation:

• $17.60 - $21.85

Schedule:

• Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
