If the BARK experience is a theatrical production, the Supply Chain team is the wizard behind the curtain making sure all 1,000 things go according to plan and millions of dogs are happy. We're the people who get our product where it needs to go: from factory / manufacturer to our warehouse network, and then to our end customers by all the necessary means possible (TEU, LCL,small parcel, LTL, FTL). We are obsessed with logistics and relentless on performance, but we're not afraid to have fun! But we like to think we're superheroes your dog doesn't even know about. No capes, but we type faster than you can fly and don't rest until pups are barking at the door in anticipation of BARK products landing on their doorstep.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

If you are interested in learning about foundational inbound supply chain processes and making a direct impact on customer experience, there is an exciting opportunity to be a team member of the Process Optimization team.

Working with our supply chain team, the Process Optimization Coordinator will be responsible for executing foundational functions to ensure quality and execution in our supply chain. You will manage shipment exceptions by partnering with various cross-functional teams, and other foundational tasks. The scope of responsibilities for this role will continue to grow over time and is an excellent platform for eager candidates to expand their supply chain knowledge and gain experience in skills that are in high demand across the industry.

KEY DUTIES

• The role will assist in completing foundational supply chain tasks to scale up our supply chain to meet growing demands

• Manage and identify root causes for variances and inventory discrepancies through all legs of the inbound supply chain to ensure there is visibility and action around shipment defects

• Handle escalations from associates and ensure timely resolution.

• Communicate with various teams in the supply chain team to escalate outstanding issues that do not fall within the standard processes defined for the role

• Maintain reporting that is critical to the supply chain daily operation.

• Own and drive the processes outlined above, while aiming to continuously improve processes where possible

• • Coordinate with 3PLs, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Learn new processes and systems as the inbound operation matures and develops.

EXPERIENCE

• High-level training/education will be provided to equip you with the foundational knowledge needed but interest in Supply Chain, specifically logistics, is very helpful.

• Supply Chain experience if possible.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Resourceful, with ability to self-direct.

• Beginner/Intermediate Excel skills

• Self-starter, team player who is adept with process flows, data/analysis, and strong in communication.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills with strong follow up skills in English.

• Knowledge of supply chain - specifically international logistics - a plus.

• Patient and works with sense of urgency

• Process driven

This position is a full-time position. It is located remote, in the Philippines. We offer competitive pay and benefits. The role will require the individual to work Eastern time hours.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

• The base salary range for this position is ₱551,200.00PHP

**This compensation range is based on BARKs good faith estimate as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay for this position will depend on a variety of variables including location, travel, internal equity, experience, education, skills and expertise.
