O-I has more than a century of experience crafting pure, sustainable, brand-building glass packaging for many of the world’s best-known food and beverage brands. We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
You will be responsible for running one of three production lines ensuring that the line runs smoothly and effectively packing high quality products.  You will do this be carrying out quality checks, feedback your findings and working to resolve any issues.  You are responsible for ensuring that materials are stocked up and your line and working area is effective and hazard free.
We operate an 6 on / 2 off, 8 hour shift pattern rotating, 365 days per year.  Our shifts are 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am.  Please note this is a fixed term contract for 6 months.
The salary is £14.59 per hour plus shift allowance and benefits include 35 days holiday, competitive pension scheme, onsite parking, uniform, life insurance, employee assistance programme and quarterly bonus (based on plant performance).

• Experience of working in a process manufacturing environment ideally glass or packaging
• Expereince of working shifts
