The Process Mining Data Engineer is a key member of the team, working as a champion for Process Mining and wider Intelligent automation capabilities. The role works closely with the CoE Lead to integrate Process Mining into the operational fabric at LSEG, helping to accelerate the growth and adoption of the technology across the organization.
The role requires a deep technical understanding of process mining applications and data visualisation techniques, plus excellent business analysis and data transformation skills. Understand business and system requirements to connect process mining platforms to enterprise applications. Working with the business as a process mining domain sme, they should be able to evaluate mining outputs, highlighting areas of inefficiency and root causes.
Role Responsibilities & key Accountabilities
- Own and drive end-to-end the implementation of Celonis across various business units and IT landscapes
- Help Operations drive significant business outcomes and return on investment by demonstrating the insights uncovered through Process Mining
- Connect to on-premise/ Cloud ERP & IT systems, whilst collaborating closely with team members and ensuring control protocols are adhered to
- Collaborate with senior level executives, process owners and technical teams within each business unit to understand their goals, objectives and requirements and translate them into Process Mining technical requirements
- Conduct initial Business Process analysis to assess suitability of mining projects to build out the pipeline, and to prioritize the pipeline against agreed criteria.
- Plan, schedule, and handle project timelines and activities from project kick-off through training to ensure each project is delivered on time and requirements are met
- Extract and transform and load business data
- Build process and business-specific dashboards, analyses and reports
- Aid the identification of process improvement opportunities by aligning closely with the available technology toolkit at LSEG and conceptualize solutions with business collaborators
- Present implementation results to executives and business users
- Coordinate and lead process mining workshops and awareness training sessions
- Participate in the definition and improvement of the overall Intelligent Automation value proposition.
- Assist in the development of quality standards and procedures for the Intelligent Automation function to ensure that work is done to the highest possible standard.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant previous experience in Celonis (CCPM & OCPM) as a data engineer & analyst
- Hands on experience in AI, Python and Gen AI technologies
