Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI), established in 2009, is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector.
RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Electronic Power Steering Control Units, Body Control Modules (BCM), Immobilizers, Voltage Regulators (VR1), Electronic Battery Sensors (EBS), DC-DC Converters, ABS for 2W and 4W, Car Multimedia – Infotainment System, iTrams (communication control unit) and now recently the Bosch TEP120 (Telematics Smart Plug) being featured on Amazon.in. With our first product having been produced in 2009, RBAI is now celebrating 10 years of serving the Automotive Electronics (AE) Industry. RBAI successfully achieved a key milestone in 2016, completing manufacturing of 10 million Engine Control Units and 5 million Body Control Modules, which soon followed by 20 million and 10 million respectively by 2019.
RBAI exports products to all major global customers spread across destinations. RBAI towards becoming a global benchmark in operational excellence, consistently produces single digit ppm quality products and maintains benchmark inventory levels. RBAI by inheriting the Bosch Production System (BPS) at all levels and practices, is at the top of the AE BPS ranking, as of December, 2018.
Being awarded the “Future Ready Factory” platinum award at the IMEA 2018 (Indian Manufacturing Excellence Award by Frost and Sullivan), reaffirms our steps towards becoming the benchmark facility for the future and consistently being ranked the top AE plant in BPS, shows that our journey in operational excellence is heading in the right direction

• Target definition, deployment and achievement on business requirements. Systematic improvement of business processes.
• KPIs-Safety , Quality and Internal defect cost , Cost per 1000 Placements, CPH ,Technical availability
• Competence management and personal development/coaching of the team members.
• Defining competence Dialogue, Communication with internal customers and stakeholders towards high level of co operation. 
• Maintains regular contact with his team and all stakeholders to understand and address 
• opportunities for improvement and hurdles in respect to target achievement. 
• Initiation and Moderation of CIP activities (productivity improvement, RPP projects)
• Controlling the capital budget and expenditures in related area.
• MBR reporting for capital expenditure for Projects and reviews with stakeholders.
• Alignment with central functions on manufacturing standards and process technologies.
• Participate in the Design reveiw of MAE for projects or customized requriement.
• Perform the Layer process audits for each process with the responsible process owner / specilist of your team.
• Participate in seminars/ conferences / key visit to demonstrate the domain expertise.
B.E in Mechanical engineering or Electronics/ EEE or Industrial Engineering.
8 - 10 years of relevant job experience in electronics and or automotive business sector.
Exposure to international teams/customers. 
Experience in project management or lead of a team.
•    Demonstrates strong expertise in SMT manufacturing processes, including solder paste printing, pick and place systems, reflow ovens, conveyors, and integrated automation, with end to end process ownership. 
•    Brings hands on experience with Selective Soldering equipment and processes, ensuring stable operations, quality compliance, and continuous improvement. 
•    Demonstrates strong people leadership through coaching and mentoring, building team capability and ensuring effective knowledge transfer across functions. 
•    Proven in structured problem solving methodologies, including deep dive root cause analysis, PDCA, FMEA, and process capability analysis (Cp/Cpk) to drive sustainable improvements. 
•    Operates independently as a process subject matter expert, applying technical judgment to resolve complex issues and consistently deliver results. 
•    Has working knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, with exposure to AI and Machine Intelligence applications as an added advantage. 
•    Familiar with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, providing additional value in process and equipment improvement initiatives.
