The Role and Impact:
Intel is seeking a motivated and driven Process Integration and Yield Engineer Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving innovation and ensuring the success of Intel's manufacturing operations. You will contribute to process development, integration flows, and equipment optimization for high-volume manufacturing modules. Through hands-on experience, experiments, and collaborative projects, you will support Intel's mission to deliver cutting-edge technology and products to the global market. Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of manufacturing module processes and integration flows.
• Support yield improvement initiatives by analyzing defect data and conducting experiments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize metrology strategies and troubleshoot process flow issues.
• Assist in equipment configuration and risk assessments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Apply knowledge, build technical skills, and explore future career opportunities through hands-on projects that align with Intel's business goals.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear engineering, Optics, Chemistry (with focus on hands on experimental research), or similar field of study
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year experience with one or more of the following:
• Materials characterization (SEM, TEM, etc.), materials fabrication, synthesis, metrology, statistical or data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.)
• Semiconductor processing fundamentals (lithography, wet and or dry etch, chemical and or mechanical polishing, etc.), semiconductor and or transistor device physics, and design of experiments.
• Demonstrate experience of Statistical Process Control SPC or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
• Expertise on semiconductor physics.
• Expertise on semiconductor processing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills:
• Experience presenting data/conclusions in classroom, conferences, or group meetings.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $72,900.00-98,600.00 USD
