About the role:

As a Process Expert (m/f/d) Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Pharma, you will support the evolution of our digital manufacturing landscape — ensuring seamless integration between MES, automation layers, ERP systems, and quality platforms. In this position, you will play a central role in the digitalization, standardization, and continuous improvement of batch manufacturing, review, and release processes across our global production sites. Beyond solution design, you will act as a bridge between manufacturing, quality, IT, and automation teams — and contributing to strategic initiatives such as Pharma 4.0, real‑time data availability, and global MES governance.

Your assignments:

Project Management for MES implementation projects.
Proactively work with relevant Departments and project team members to support the deployment of MES processes including establishment of Electronic Batch Records(EBRs) within our manufacturing sites.
Support and execute Electronic Master Batch Record(eMBR) authoring & general technical MES configuration for existing business process.
Support development of requirements analysis/understanding in terms of End to End Use Cases.
Support the development of all necessary project and system support documentation including but not limited to designs, configuration, procedures, testing etc.
Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders on project progression
Identification of project risks and escalation by initiating suitable countermeasures.

Your profile:

Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Project experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Expert Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Working knowledge of SAP Systems integration e.g. SAP ecc, ewm.
Good knowledge of the requirements for the implementation of projects in the validated environment (GAMP 5, CSV & CSA).
Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of German or other languages an advantage.
Willingness to travel to participate in workshops at international locations.
