• Define process specs for a range of different technologies in Balance of Plant systems, including equipment sizing, P&IDs, and functional descriptions, as well as testing the control system.
• Support all project phases of project execution—from proposal handover to plant acceptance—including design, procurement, commissioning, and occasional travel (up to 10%).
• Serve as the main contact for the team and in meetings with third parties regarding all process-related matters.
• Take part in process risk assessments, providing key information and expertise (e.g., HAZOP).
• Conduct process engineering reviews with the site team during commissioning and trial runs to ensure performance requirements are met.
• Ensure proper implementation of process engineering specifications and initiate change requests when necessary.
• Maintain process documents and templates (e.g., P&IDs, engineering lists).
• Follow Kanadevia Inova work methods, including Comos guidelines, and ensure HSE standards are met.
• Independent and detail-oriented with a passion for learning and discovering new technologies.
• Degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (Bachelor/Master, FH/TH).
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of process engineering and plant automation.
• Skilled in CAE and engineering tools (e.g., Comos).
• Experience in flue gas treatment or Balance of Plant is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German and/or other language is an advantage.
