Process Engineer

Dual position with responsibilities in digitalization, automation, and PLC control.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible to implement Digitalization roadmap in the Value Stream
• Develop applications using the standard software defined for each project type
• Support on machine controls process (PLCs).
• Follow and implement new trends in software development, always to improve the current processes
• Support on automation projects such as AMRs, Cobot, etc.
• Responsible to implement, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes as well as to ensure technical availability of equipment in all shifts.
• Aim to achieve Value Stream KPI’s such as relative utilization, internal defect cost by continuously improving other supporting KPI’s such as FOR and technical downtime.
• New product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, and installation on production environment.
• Develop procedures and instructions for technical processes.
• Develop material to train process technicians.
• Develop maintenance plans for equipment focused on preventive, predictive and corrective approaches.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum required education level: bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, electromechanical, mechatronics, digital systems and communications engineering, or related fields.
• Master's degree is preferred.

SKILLS:

• Experience (3-5 years) as PLCs programming or software development engineer.
• Proficient database skills (SQL, Oracle).
• Experience in coding (C#, Python, Java).
• Experience in Business intelligence platforms (Power BI, tableau).
• PLC programming: Bosch Rexroth (preferrable).
• Design electromechanical systems for automation or control of manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge on Robotics: Staubli, Fanuc, Omron.
• Advanced English.
