About the role
As a Process Development Engineer, you’ll drive the development of manufacturing processes from early concept and feasibility through to validation and commercial readiness. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners to ensure products meet regulatory, quality, and performance requirements. You’ll also be -
Developing manufacturing processes from new concept design and characterization right the way through to validation and commercial readiness.
Facilitating in Design Transfer of Device Product Design to Manufacturing Process Design attributes
Conducting Process risk management activities (e.g. pFMEA, design controls)
Identify opportunities and proactively input into departmental and process improvements.
Troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and equipment
Providing technical support to internal teams and external partners
What we’re looking for:
Someone with at least 3+ years’ experience in similar roles along with relevant qualification in engineering or science. You also bring strong understanding of full product lifecycle and -
Experience developing and commercialising products from concept to production
Experience designing test methods, jigs, and fixtures
Familiarity with medical device development (highly regarded)
CAD experience (e.g. SolidWorks, Rhino, Creo or similar)
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Fast learner with strong technical curiosity
