About the Role:

This is not a traditional "backend dev" role; it is a specialized position for someone who excels at Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Browser Automation. You will be responsible for building the digital infrastructure that interacts with government portals, scrapes public registries, and processes high-stakes business data.

Your work will directly eliminate manual data entry, allowing our team to focus on high-level advisory while your "digital workers" handle the heavy lifting of filing and data extraction. You will be successful if you have a passion for "Human-in-the-Loop" automation—designing systems that are powerful enough to run themselves but smart enough to pause for expert validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Portal Automation: Build and maintain browser-based bots (using Playwright or Puppeteer) to automate company registrations and document uploads on state websites.

Public Data Extraction & OCR: Create scrapers to pull company records from public databases and implement OCR tools (like AWS Textract) to extract data from government-issued certificates.

Document Generation: Develop logic to turn raw data into clean, "Ready-to-Verify" documents (PDF/Word) for client approval.

Semi-Automated Workflows: Design n8n workflows that connect our intake forms, CRM (HubSpot), and automation scripts into a single, cohesive engine.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Web Automation Specialist: Proven experience navigating complex websites that do not have APIs.

Data Integrity & RPA: A meticulous approach to error handling and "exception management" in automated processes.

Scripting Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python is a major plus).

Tooling: Experience with n8n, HubSpot, and Document Intelligence/OCR platforms.
