Position Summary: Candidate will be processing incoming orders for gastroenterology procedures. Candidate will be making outbound calls, and taking inbound calls, Candidate will be scheduling patients accordingly as you will be the point of contact between ordering physicians, patients, and hospital/outpatient facilities.
Please note: The majority of the day for this position consists of being on the phone and you must be confident and have the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
Essential Job Functions: Making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls, Asking all patient information to include medical questions for pre-procedure screening needs. Scheduling patients for procedures and processing orders in multiple systems while also educating patients on any prep that is needed for procedures You will also be responsible for daily tasks in your assigned task boxes making sure they are done in a timely manner. Being a team player.
Qualifications: High School Graduate -Excellent computer skills, able to train across multiple software platforms. Must be able to multi-task, using multiple programs at the same time and working with double monitors. Must be able to demonstrate professional writing and verbal skills. Must be a motivated self-starter and be able to work quickly and efficiently in a very fast paced department. Strong interpersonal skills as well as communication, organization and prioritization skills are a must. Candidate must be able to pay strong attention to details. Bilingual is a plus!
Hours: Monday- Friday 9:30am-5:30pm / 40 hours a week
