What's your day like?

As a Full-Time Mental Health Tech in the Behavioral Health Unit at Minden Medical Center, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring patient behavior, providing direct support in activities of daily living, and facilitating therapeutic group activities that promote mental wellness. You will be expected to document patient progress, maintain a safe and secure environment, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Your schedule will consist of night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, offering you the flexibility to engage in enriching experiences during the day. Anticipate working closely with patients, developing rapport, and using your empathetic skills to address their needs.
