Private Equity Portfolio Accounting, Officer will be responsible for processing and reviewing transactions, client service, and maintaining a working relationship with the global team. The candidate will participate and/or lead various projects both client facing and internal. Additionally they will be involved in regulatory work ,training, and annual audit.

What you will be responsible for
As Private Equity Portfolio Accounting, Officer you will:
• Review and assist staff with private equity transactions and assist in resolving private equity transactions related queries, audits and other ad hoc financial reports as required.
• Oversee the review, validation, approval and monitoring of the process workflow
• Account for daily management of functional team(s) and manage daily service delivery and production activities performed by staff
• Oversee offshore teams, performance tracking , participation in monthly/quarterly calls, transitioning new funds/business to offshore teams
• Primary contact and key escalation point for critical operational issues, as well as technical expert to resolve daily problems
• Manage and escalate issues related to Business Unit Shared Services and COEs
• Assist with conversions of new business, plan for and review client specific agreements and internal policies
• Ensure appropriate records of daily and monthly activities are complete and maintained
• Identify and implement consistent operational best practices
• Assist in documenting and reviewing procedures, recommend controls and risk strategies
• Coordinate the implementation of new funds, systems and processes, assist with client conversions and other client projects
• Promote a risk awareness culture in staff
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff
• Ensure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
• Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and role model Ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundation
• Perform other duties as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Competent to Expert with a Bachelor’s degree, prefer finance, accounting, economics or business management major
• 5+ years of related experience in transfer agency, private equity fund of funds or private equity fund accounting.
• Proficient in email management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with various internal teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to escalate
• Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure, and simultaneously handle multiple assignments
• Excellent administrative and organizational with the proven ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables

Salary Range:
$67,000 - $109,750 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
