Private Equity Intern Position

FSN Capital is offering a 6-12 months internship in our Munich office,

as of H1 2027

About the opportunity

As an intern at FSN Capital Partners you will be an integrated part of the investment team and gain insight into the steps of an investment’s lifecycle: sourcing – due diligence – value creation – divestment. You will play an important role in teams taking on significant responsibility and you should be able to see beyond numbers and think creatively. You will be based in our Munich office close to Karlsplatz (Stachus)' but will also have tasks that involve the Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen offices. Interns are also invited to all the FSN Capital Seminars which include off-sites with the FSN Capital team, executive advisors, portfolio company management and leading industry experts as well as representatives from academia.

Your responsibilities will include:

Prepare and perform analysis of industry and financial data, which is used as a basis for company analysis for prospective transactions and development of portfolio companies

Work with deal intermediaries such as industry experts, management consultants, and financial advisors

Support on investment committee presentations and financial models

Participate in team discussions and meetings

The intern position offers a unique opportunity to strengthen and develop skills necessary for a successful career in private equity, management consulting and investment banking. You will work in teams across all FSN Capital offices and learn how to identify new investment themes and acquisition candidates, while assisting in all aspects of the investment process and interact with our portfolio companies. Former interns have secured graduate jobs at companies such as McKinsey & Co., Bain & Co., BCG, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan.

 As a Private Equity Intern

You are comfortable working with numbers, show a strong drive and excellent communication skills, as well as showing strong integrity, and a humble personality that goes well with people across all levels

You have completed 2nd year bachelor’s degree within business, economics, engineering or similar with good academic record

You have an entrepreneurial spirit, you are a true team player with a genuine interest in working with and developing businesses

You are fluent in German and English
