Private Equity Intern, Copenhagen, 2026/2027

FSN Capital is offering a 12+ months internship position in our Copenhagen Office, from May 2026

About the opportunity

As an intern at FSN Capital Partners you will be an integral part of the investment team and gain insights into all steps of the investment lifecycle: sourcing – deal execution – value creation – divestment. You will play a crucial role in our team, taking on significant responsibility and always encouraged to see beyond numbers and think creatively.

Our interns' responsibilities include:

Prepare and perform analysis of financial and industry data as basis for fundamental analysis of prospective investments and development of existing portfolio companies

Create financial models, draft presentations, and investment memoranda

Attend and be an active contributor to team discussions and meetings

The internship position offers a unique opportunity to strengthen and develop skills necessary for a successful career in principal investing, management consulting, or investment banking. Many of our previous interns have used this as an opportunity to take a gap year after their bachelor's degree to prepare for further studies or a full-time job. Former interns have moved on to studies at top-ranked institutions, e.g., MIT, Oxford, or LSE, following the internship, as well as full-time positions at e.g. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey & Co, or Boston Consulting Group.

The main prerequisites for a successful candidate are:

Comfortable working with numbers, show a strong drive and excellent communication skills, as well as strong integrity and a humble personality that goes well with people across all levels

Has completed at least the 2nd year of a bachelor’s degree within business, economics, engineering, or similar with strong academic record

Has entrepreneurial spirit, is a true team player, and has genuine interest in working with and developing businesses

Previous work experience from top tier investment company, investment bank, or management consulting firm

Is fluent in English, and has previous experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel
