Outsourcing Advantage is seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Duty Nursing Coordinator to join our team. This role is is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Private Duty Nursing (PDN) case coordination—from intake to staffing, scheduling, communication, and authorization management. This role ensures that each case is fully supported, properly staffed, and compliant with all clinical, operational, and billing requirements. The coordinator plays a central role in maintaining a high level of member satisfaction and ensuring seamless service delivery
Responsibilities
Intake & Case Setup
• Place a welcome call to the family upon receiving a new case from intake to identify staffing needs and document medical needs.
Recruitment & Hiring Support
• Join recruitment team on Zoom interviews with potential nurses and help assess their suitability for the case.
• Collaborate with recruitment to ensure candidates are cleared to work and appropriately matched to the case.
Staffing & Scheduling
• Place nurses on the schedule once cleared and ensure cases remain fully staffed at all times.
• Coordinate nurse case orientations, including sharing members’ medical needs, company policies, and billing guidelines.
Authorization & Billing Coordination
• Enter authorizations into the billing system and coordinate start‑of‑care so services can begin promptly.
• Oversee reauthorizations and ensure all authorizations remain active to prevent service or billing interruptions.
• Ensure the company receives proper payment for services by maintaining accurate billing compliance.
Ongoing Case Management
• Serve as the primary point of responsibility for each assigned case
• Communicate effectively with families, nurses, and internal teams to support high member satisfaction.
• Maintain full oversight of staffing, scheduling, and overall case continuity
Requirements:
• Strong English communication skills at a C1 level & able to interact effectively with families, nurses, and internal teams.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.
• Forthcoming and transparent in all professional interactions.
• Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Prior experience in Private Duty Nursing coordination is required.
• Availability for full-time work, including willingness to support after-hours emergencies as needed
• Proficient in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR),
• Friendly, compassionate, and patient, with the ability to nurture a strong patient‑healthcare relationship built on mutual trust.
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
