Als engineer werk je aan mission‑critical enterprise omgevingen waar beschikbaarheid en stabiliteit essentieel zijn. Je neemt technisch eigenaarschap over datacenter‑ en private cloud infrastructuur en gaat diep de techniek in: van compute en storage tot hypervisors, back‑ups en security. Je analyseert incidenten bij de bron, werkt aan structurele verbeteringen en denkt actief mee over optimalisatie, automatisering en standaardisatie. Samen met teams als Security, Public Cloud en DBA zorg je voor stabiele, veilige en toekomstbestendige platforms. Je draait mee in de on‑call diensten en neemt verantwoordelijkheid wanneer het echt telt.

Wat je doet in de praktijk:

• Dagelijks beheer & incidentafhandeling: health checks, monitoring, incidenten en changes via ServiceNow

• Lifecycle & platformontwikkeling: firmware‑, hypervisor‑ en OS‑updates (o.a. VMware, HPE, Veeam, Windows)

• Security & samenwerking: signaleren van kwetsbaarheden en afstemming met Security en andere expertteams

• Je draait on‑call dienst: 1 keer per 4 weken
