We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our Vernon Hills, IL office. This full-time opportunity allows you to work closely with high-net-worth clients while enjoying a balanced workload, even during peak tax season. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented tax professional ready to lead client engagements, mentor junior staff, and provide strategic tax advisory services in the private wealth sector. Candidates should have 7+ years of public accounting tax experience, hold an active CPA license, and possess deep expertise in individual, trust, estate, and gift tax compliance and planning.
Located in Vernon Hills, this role offers flexible hybrid or in-office schedules, emphasizes technology-driven efficiency, and encourages collaboration with senior leadership. As a hands-on manager, you will have direct impact on client relationships and firm operations, shaping tax strategies for high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and families in Vernon Hills.
• Deliver strategic tax recommendations while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with senior leadership to address complex tax matters efficiently.

• Expertise in Individual, Gift, Estate, and Trust tax compliance and advisory.
• Proven track record providing tax planning and solutions for high-net-worth clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
