Job Description

We will consider candidates who reside between the Fresno and Sacramento market areas.

Position Summary:

The Senior Private Client Advisor is the first initial point of contact and the primary contact to our highest income/net worth clients’ portfolio with a focus on clients whose net worth is $1 million and up. The Private Client Advisor is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients; maximizing client engagement by assessing, understanding, and identifying clients banking needs and providing or arranging a wide array of wealth advice to include a focus on estate/succession planning. Private Client Advisors are responsible for the Bank's highest-value Wealth Management clients. 

 

Position Accountabilities:

Acts as the main point of contact for high net worth clients to be introduced into Wealth Management.

Demonstrates strong business development skills by acquiring profitable high income/net worth client relationships for Wealth Management.

Able to develop quality relationships within the Bank’s Agribusiness Banking Division.

Responsible for identifying client needs and ensuring needs are met by utilizing Investments, Insurance, daily banking, credit or other relevant products, in connections with client's tax, legal, and estate planning professionals.

Expands client portfolio through referrals to Trust Officers, Portfolio Managers, and Financial Advisors, Specialty Asset Managers, Wealth Strategists and Family Business Counselors. 

Responsible for following up to ensure all banking services provided to clients exceed their expectations.

Expands and builds relationship with clients by proactively monitoring client's portfolio.

Engages clients in the estate/succession planning process

Provides clients a high level of consultative financial advice by using the full range of banking products and services designed for the affluent/high net worth client.

Ensures documentation is up to date and complete.

Maintaining excellent and effective Client Relationships.

Maintaining and continuing required license(s).

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Does Candidate have a Bachelors' degree in Finance, Economics or Business/Other?

Does candidate have active series 7, 63 or 65 or 66 & Life Insurance licenses

Does candidate have experience selling Life Insurance products?

Does candidate have experience with estate planning?

Does candidate have experience with Trusts?

Does candidate have experience working with high net worth Agribusiness clients?

IDEAL CANDIDATE

2-5+ yrs. sales experience

Experience as a Private Banker working with high net worth agribusiness clients

Fully licensed- series 7, 65 or 66 & LIfe Insurance 

Experience selling Life Insurance

Experience in estate planning
