Job Title: Principal Talent Acquisition Partner

Experience: 10-12 years

Location: Bangalore, India

Work Mode: Hybrid Model (3 days from Office)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Recruiter with a strong background in end-to-end recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and expertise in direct sourcing and LinkedIn sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of full cycle recruitment experience

• Operate as a trusted strategic advisor to senior business leaders (Director-level and above), owning and delivering on the most critical and complex requisitions that directly impact phData’s growth and long-term success.

• Demonstrate strong organizational savvy, navigating business dynamics, anticipating talent risks (e.g., attrition, skill gaps), and proactively influencing hiring strategies that align with business priorities and change initiatives.

• Participate in the design and implementation of best-in-class hiring practices, with a focus on executive and niche technical roles, gaining alignment from stakeholders and driving consistency across the broader Talent Acquisition function.

• Champion phData’s external employer brand, particularly within client groups, taking actionable steps to enhance visibility, engagement, and perception in competitive talent markets.

• Serve as a “talent magnet”—attracting top external Talent Acquisition professionals and building strong, credible relationships with high-caliber candidates across the industry.

• Take an official mentor and advisor role within the Talent Acquisition team, providing coaching, development, and feedback to support team growth and excellence.

• Offer influential input on team composition, including hiring decisions, promotions, and performance management, helping shape the future of the TA organization.

• Act as a consultant to GTA leadership, contributing thought leadership, market insights, and strategic direction across multiple facets of talent acquisition.

• May lead or contribute to enterprise-level initiatives or strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and talent priorities.

• Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships both within the TA team and across phData, including with People Operations Partners and business leaders, to drive integrated workforce strategies.

• Maintain a forward-looking view of talent market trends, competitor activity, and emerging best practices, consistently sharing actionable market intelligence to inform hiring decisions and organizational planning.

• Represent phData’s values, culture, and mission with professionalism and integrity, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment and the Data Engineering domain.

• Proven experience in direct sourcing and utilizing LinkedIn for recruitment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in technical recruiting for various IT roles.

• Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
