About the Role

Eurofins Environment Testing DACH is seeking an experienced M365/SharePoint Information Architect & Hub Owner to design, govern, and continuously improve our SharePoint Online landscape across multiple business units, functional departments, and legal entities.

In this role, you will define and implement the information architecture, governance model, and content lifecycle strategy that enables our teams to collaborate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with Eurofins' IT governance and segregation principles.

This is a strategic and hands‑on role at the core of our digital workplace transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Information Architecture & SharePoint Design

Develop and maintain the target SharePoint IA, including site/hub architecture, content types, metadata models, navigation, and search optimization.

Automate processes and workflows using Power Automate (approvals, notifications, content processes, provisioning flows).

Create and maintain Blueprints & Templates for department, BU, and project sites.

Ensure a consistent, user‑friendly experience aligned with Eurofins brand and collaboration standards.

2. Governance, Security & Compliance

Implement SharePoint governance aligned with Eurofins' global IT Governance, Segregation, and Security-by-Design principles.

Define and maintain permission models linked to role-based access, ADAT, and Eurofins’ Need-to-Know/Need-to-Use approach.

Ensure compliance with Retention Policies, Data Classification, and DMS rules.

 

3. Content Lifecycle Management

Define content policies: ownership rules, archiving cycles, review workflows, metadata, and document handling.

Guide site owners on proper content structuring, lifecycle management, and quality standards.

4. Business Enablement & Adoption

Build and lead a SharePoint Site Owner Community across ET‑DACH.

Provide training, best practices, documentation, and change enablement.

Support departments in migrating, structuring, and publishing information.

5. Product Ownership & Continuous Improvement

Act as Product Owner for SharePoint within ET‑DE:

Manage roadmap, backlog, and implementation priorities.

Collaborate closely with IT security, HR, PMO, and operations stakeholders.

Monitor adoption and performance using defined KPIs.

 

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Expertise in information architecture, metadata models, site design, and modern SharePoint features.

Experience with Power Automate (flows, triggers, approvals, integrations with SharePoint Lists & Libraries).

Solid understanding of IT governance, security, identity & access management, and role-based permissions.

Experienced in developing governance frameworks, templates, guidelines, and user training.

Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills in a decentralized environment.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, compliant SharePoint structures.

 

 

Preferred BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree.
