A Day in the Life

Als Principal Sales Analyst sind Sie strategischer Sparringspartner für Marketing- und Market Development Leadership und tragen maßgeblich dazu bei, fundierte kommerzielle Entscheidungen zu ermöglichen. Ihr Fokus liegt darauf, komplexe Daten in klare Handlungsempfehlungen zu übersetzen und so Wachstum, Profitabilität und Portfolio-Positionierung aktiv mitzugestalten.

Diese Position umfasst die Region Deutschland und ist daher eine Remote-Position. Remote bedeutet, dass Ihre Heimatadresse als primärer Arbeitsort gilt (Home Office). Für Meetings und Workshops kann hin und wieder Ihre Anwesenheit im Medtronic Office in Meerbusch erforderlich sein – eine Wohnortnähe zum Standort ist von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung. Gelegentliche Reisen innerhalb Deutschlands und Europas sind vorgesehen, um Kundenveranstaltungen oder interne Workshops zu unterstützen.

Verantwortlichkeiten umfassen, wie folgt:

• Agiert als strategischer Sparringspartner für Sales-, Marketing- und Market Development Leadership und übersetzt Daten in klare Handlungsempfehlungen
• Analysiert und steuert die kommerzielle Performance (z. B. Umsatz, Produktmix, Marktanteile) und identifiziert konkrete Wachstumschancen
• Schafft Transparenz über Pipeline, Forecast und Account Performance und unterstützt die Weiterentwicklung von Account PlansEntwickelt und bewertet Pricing-, Portfolio- und Business Case Analysen zur Unterstützung strategischer Entscheidungen
• Treibt die Weiterentwicklung von Reporting- und Dashboard-Strukturen (insbesondere Salesforce) und fördert datenbasierte Steuerung im Vertrieb
• Analysiert Markt- und Wettbewerbsentwicklungen und leitet daraus klare kommerzielle Implikationen ab
• Arbeitet eng mit Sales, Marketing, Market Development und Finance zusammen und verbindet Analyse mit operativer Umsetzung

Erforderliches Wissen und Erfahrung:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften oder vergleichbarer Ausbildung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (idealerweise 5–8 Jahre) in Business Analytics, Commercial Excellence, Sales Analytics oder Consulting
• Erfahrung im MedTech-, Pharma- oder Healthcare-Umfeld von Vorteil
• Sehr starke analytische Fähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung im Umgang mit großen Datenmengen (Excel, idealerweise BI-Tools und CRM-Systeme wie Salesforce)
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Business Cases, Pricing-Analysen und kommerziellen Entscheidungsgrundlagen
• Fähigkeit, komplexe Zusammenhänge strukturiert aufzubereiten und in klare, umsetzbare Empfehlungen zu übersetzen
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Management-Fähigkeiten sowie sicheres Auftreten gegenüber verschiedenen Hierarchieebenen
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
