Role Overview

This role plays a critical part in shaping consistent narratives across internal and external channels, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting corporate reputation through high-quality, audience-focused content. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker, an exceptional writer, and a proactive collaborator who can work with cross functional teams to guide content creation both internally and externally, improve discoverability, and deliver measurable impact.

What You Will Do

• Internal Communication Content Strategy & Development

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align with business priorities and corporate messaging

• Draft and manage internal announcements, leadership messages, FAQs, and employee updates

• Partner closely with HR, Legal, Leadership, and International Comms team to ensure message accuracy and consistency

• Manage internal communication channels (e.g., Bulk emails, Newsletters, internal platforms)

• Editorial & Content Operations

• Co-own the editorial calendar, managing content from concept through publication and optimization.

• Collaborate with analytics, product, and marketing teams to assess content performance and adjust strategies based on data.

• Ensure all written content aligns with Coupang’s voice, accuracy standards, and brand priorities.

• Proactively identify storytelling opportunities that highlight business impact, innovation, and customer obsession.

• Press Releases & Media Material

• Write compelling, search-discoverable press releases aligned with strategic communication themes.

• Develop supplementary media materials including Q&A documents, fact sheets, talking points, and statements.

• Video Scripts & Creative Content

• Write engaging scripts for corporate videos, product explainers, employer brand content, and customer storytelling.

• Work closely with video producers to align narrative structure, tone, and creative direction.

• Editorial Strategy & Content Operations

• Maintain an editorial calendar and manage content development from concept to execution.

• Ensure all written content meets Coupang’s quality bar and is consistent with brand voice, accuracy, and clarity.

• Proactively identify content opportunities that highlight business impact, innovation, and customer obsession.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in content creation, editorial strategy, or related writing roles.

• Demonstrated success producing content that drives measurable visibility and engagement.

• Excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English; able to deliver clear, concise, high-quality content in both languages.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong stakeholder management skills; proven ability to work cross-functionally.

• Experience with media, PR workflows, or video content production is a plus.
