Principal Product Marketing Specialist

【Reason for Hiring】

To further strengthen our Automotive Product Marketing Team (Automotive SoC), we are seeking a proactive and results-driven Principal Product Marketing Specialist to accelerate the growth of our next-generation automotive SoC roadmap.

【Role Responsibilities】

The person in this position will play a key role in defining the roadmap and use cases for our fast‑growing R‑Car SoC family, with a focus on one or more of the following areas:

• Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) ecosystem (software and tools)
• In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)
• ADAS / Autonomous Driving (AD)
• Connected gateway / vehicle control

【Key Responsibilities】

• Support the R-Car Open Access (RoX) SDV platform and next-generation R-Car SoC products
• Engage with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners
• Define product positioning and go-to-market strategies for specific target segments
• Analyze market requirements and customer use cases in the defined focus areas
• Define end-to-end product solutions and drive proof-of-concept (PoC) and benchmarking activities
• Contribute to product requirements and specifications for SoC, software, and tools
• Support customer engagements, including RFI/RFQ responses
• Conduct internal trainings and customer workshops
• Support market introduction by creating product collateral, blogs, white papers, and other materials
• Contribute to market intelligence gathering and competitive analysis

• 8+ years of hands-on system experience in one or more of the listed focus areas
• Deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem and market trends
• Strong knowledge of automotive SoCs, including Renesas or other vendors
• Established network with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners
• Expertise in one or more of the following domains: functional safety, cybersecurity, AI, graphics, multimedia
• Excellent communication skills and strong team collaboration mindset
• Ability to work effectively in complex, fast-paced environments with a high degree of multitasking
• Adaptable and comfortable working in global, multicultural environments
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
