Overview

We're seeking a Strategic Designer to lead the evolution and implementation of our design system across our platform. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on design execution to create scalable, cohesive user experiences that drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for establishing design system strategy, governance, and adoption while ensuring our products deliver exceptional experiences for enterprise customers.

Your mission

Elevate how our organisation builds digital experiences by creating and championing a world-class design system that empowers teams to deliver consistent, accessible, and delightful products at scale. You'll be the strategic architect of our design language, ensuring every interaction strengthens our customers' trust and drives measurable business impact.

Your responsibilities:
• You'll independently drive strategic product opportunities and set design direction from discovery to delivery, without requiring PM guidance for design system initiatives.

• You’ll establish foundational design patterns and scalable component libraries.

• You’ll drive organisation-wide design system adoption and measure success.

• You’ll create solutions that reduce development time and improve product consistency.

• You’ll ensure accessibility and security compliance across all components.

Your story:
• You can work remotely or hybrid within Switzerland , with access to our offices in St. Gallen.

• You have 8+ years of design experience working with SaaS or complex digital products, and have led the creation of several larger design systems.

• You have a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and scalable design solutions.

• You're expert-level proficient with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• You demonstrate strong strategic thinking with ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

• You have used the latest technologies (e.g. AI) and tools, to optimize the usage and distribution of design systems.

• You have excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• You’re fluent in English.
