Principal/Lead Dynamics 365 F&SCM Consultant - Finance - Day Rate Contract - Outside IR35

Join Telefónica Tech on a contract basis and play a key role in delivering high-impact digital transformation projects. As a Principal Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant, you’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale D365 Finance solutions, working closely with clients to drive real business value.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to experienced consultants who thrive in fast-paced environments and can operate with autonomy while influencing senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance solutions
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and define financial processes
• Configure D365 Finance to meet business and functional needs
• Support data migration, system integration, and full lifecycle testing
• Design and validate customisations aligned to business requirements
• Facilitate workshops, solution design sessions, and client communications
• Deliver user training and support adoption across business teams
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior consultants
• Act as a trusted advisor to ensure successful project outcomes and go-live readiness

 

Contract Details

• Competitive day rate (DOE) Outside
• Initial contract with potential extension
• Flexible / hybrid working depending on project

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle D365 Finance implementations, leading projects to scope, budget, and quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of D365 Finance modules (e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Project Management & Accounting).
• Strong background working with finance teams.
• Skilled in gathering integration and reporting requirements and translating them into technical design.
• Confident leading workshops, knowledge transfer, and training sessions both in-person and remotely.
• Awareness of business intelligence and AI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and Copilot is highly advantageous.
• Leading high performing teams, providing direction and mentoring.
