ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer, Product Development Engineering - Module to join our team in Central Seberang Perai, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and drive innovation in our product development processes, focusing on module engineering and design.

• Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced module engineering strategies to enhance product performance and efficiency
• Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and optimization of complex product modules
• Analyze and interpret data to drive informed decision-making in product development processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and engineering standards
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve product development processes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development lifecycle
• Participate in technical reviews and provide expert guidance on module engineering challenges
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and performance

Required:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
• 10+ years of experience in product development engineering, with a focus on module engineering
• Proven track record of leading complex module engineering projects and cross-functional teams
• Advanced knowledge of product development processes and module engineering principles
• Memory test process, test flow design, system test process and flow design, failure analysis of memory and system failures are must

Skills:

• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisive engineering decisions
• Excellent project management abilities and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in product development
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain management
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes
• Proficiency in technical writing and presenting complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences
