Principal Data Operations Analyst

Execute and analyze Statistical Operations processes and related projects for the assigned country. Identify process deviations and propose improvement suggestions to close gaps and ensure alignment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and analyze Statistical Operations processes and related country projects.
• Perform sample design execution, quality controls, and data queries that require local inspection, stakeholder contact, or language proficiency, demonstrating basic experience and leadership.
• Work in partnership with the country Operations team in accordance with execution requirements defined in Operations process manuals and related project work (basic level).
• Analyze database figures, including trend reviews and outlier detection (basic level).
• Participate in the following recurring meetings: daily Stand-Ups, SPOT Retailers, Sample Meetings (Panel Management, Data Analytics), inter-month sample inspections, and feasibility meetings.

About You

Execute and analyze statistical processes, including sample maintenance, updates to operational characteristics, determination of expansion factors, and final database review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.), preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering with a statistical focus.
• 2 years of work experience in quantitative analysis.
• Statistical knowledge of sampling design techniques.
• Statistical knowledge of quality control techniques.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database structures (intermediate level).
• Experience with statistical software such as R and Python.
• Experience with Microsoft software including Excel (intermediate level), Word, and PowerPoint (intermediate level).
• Experience in data handling, manipulation, and analysis (intermediate level).
• Experience working with Household Panels.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
