Principal Consultant - AWS

Position Purpose
TTEC Digital is seeking a Principal Consultant – AWS to join our team. This role will serve as a key pillar of the AWS delivery organization, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud solutions that align with business objectives and customer success goals. The Principal Consultant will also refine delivery practices, contribute to internal tooling, mentor team members, and stay at the forefront of AWS innovation to drive impactful customer experience outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on requirements analysis, architecture, and design discussions for new initiatives.
Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Serverless Framework.
Track and manage agile workflows using Jira.
Write robust, scalable, and maintainable code using Node.js, Java, or Python.
Stay updated with AWS service enhancements and industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and technical design sessions.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members.
Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, project managers, and client stakeholders.
Contribute to internal tools and improve design and development workflows.

Technical Expertise
10+ years of development experience building applications on AWS.
Advanced understanding of AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
Strong experience designing serverless and event-driven solutions.
Expertise in REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and security standards.
Practical experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum.

Education, Experience and Certification
10+ years of professional development experience with strong AWS exposure.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
AWS Certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional).
Experience with Serverless Framework and hands-on Python experience preferred.
