What you’ll achieve

As a skilled and forward-thinking Principal Architect - AI Engineering, you lead the development and deployment of AI systems that drive key business outcomes. You’ll design robust ML pipelines, implement scalable AI solutions, and collaborate across teams to bring models from concept to production. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring the performance, reliability, and sustainability of our AI infrastructure. 

You Will: 

• Design and build end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion to production deployment, considering cost models, latency, etc 

• Guide the adoption of best practices for AI development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and industry regulations 

• Lead the implementation of MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and retraining workflows. 

• Evaluate new AI tools and frameworks and contribute to technical decision-making and roadmap planning. 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and Dell partners, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field; a Ph.D. is a plus  

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying Cloud-Native and/or AI/ML solutions. 

• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and APIs. 

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras 

Desirable Requirements  

• Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI, or RAG architectures. 

• Experience with distributed training or data processing (e.g., Spark, Dask). 

• Exposure to AI ethics, model fairness, or responsible AI practices.
