We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher (PRT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching young learners and committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment. This role is open to both freshers and experienced educators (0–10 years of experience) who possess strong teaching skills and a genuine love for working with children.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Teaching & Instruction
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
• Teach core primary subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and other assigned subjects.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies including storytelling, hands-on activities, group discussions, visual aids, and digital tools to enhance learning.
• Foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities.
2. Student Development & Engagement
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and collaboration.
• Encourage active participation and maintain high levels of student engagement.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.
• Motivate students to build confidence and develop independent learning habits.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
• Design and conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss progress and development areas.
4. Classroom Management
• Establish clear classroom rules and expectations.
• Maintain discipline in a positive and constructive manner.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage time effectively to complete syllabus within academic timelines.
5. Collaboration & Professional Development
• Work closely with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching practices.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and school events.
• Continuously update teaching skills and subject knowledge.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and co-curricular activities.
