AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking Medical Doctors to provide high-quality patient care within an outpatient healthcare environment. The organization is currently hiring physicians across multiple locations and is also seeking one physician with an active medical license in South Carolina.
This role focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions while delivering preventive care and long-term health management for patients. The physician will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and maintain a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health services
• Conduct patient examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and treatment options
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain licensure
• One position requires an active South Carolina medical license
• Completion of an accredited residency program in family medicine, internal medicine, or a related field
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
• Experience providing primary or outpatient medical care preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and medical ethics
Preferred Experience
• Experience working in outpatient or primary care settings
• Familiarity with value-based care models or preventive health programs
• Background working with multidisciplinary care teams
• Experience with population health management initiatives
